New Vehicle Protection Plans
We offer many different vehicle protection plans for your new vehicle, all designed to help protect you from the costs of unanticipated repairs. Each plan offers a variety of extended service coverage options.
Our Extra Care Platinum program offers the most comprehensive coverage and is the plan most often selected by our customers. It is a factory-backed program with a widespread U.S. & Canada service network.
Extra Care Platinum protection plans can be purchased at any time while your vehicle:
- Is less than three years old1
- Has fewer than 36,000 total miles
Extra Care Platinum protection also gives the following additional benefits:
- Unlimited free towing to the nearest authorized repair center
- Up to $50 per day substitute transportation coverage for a maximum of five days per occurrence
- Costs of meals and lodging reimbursed up to $100 per day for a maximum of five days over the life of the agreement
- Transferability to the second owner for a $50 fee
Platinum protection covers virtually all components on new vehicles - "List of Excluded Components" below.

"List of Excluded Components": Accessory Drive Belts, Batteries, Brake Linings/Pads/Shoes, Bumpers, Carpet, Chrome, Clutch Friction Disk/Pressure Plate, Dash Cover/Pad, Door Trim/Handles/Fabric, Filters, Fluids, Glass, Headliner,
Heating Hoses/Lines/Tubes, Hinges, Interior & Exterior Trim Moldings including but not limited to Cup Holders/Ashtrays/Covers/Vents, Hoses, Light Bulbs, Nuts, Bolts, Clips, Retainers and Fasteners, Paint, Rust and Corrosion Damage, Seat Covers, Shiny Metals, Spark Plugs, Tires, Vacuum Hoses/Lines/Tubes, Weather Stripping, Windshield Wiper Blades (rubber component).
